Dr. Raj Rajeswaran
Dr. Rajeswaran holds a Ph.D in Engineering from Heriot-Watt and an MBA from Hull University. Raj has 25 years exploration industry experience with Arco and Mobil and was the Project manager of three major US$200 million field developments. Dr. Rajeswaran brings a host of oil and gas business development expertise and relationships to Sentry Petroleum. He has provided independent oil and gas advisory services to Rothschild & Sons, one of the world’s leading independent investment banking organizations and is Special Petroleum Engineering Consultant to the Bank of Scotland, International Corporate Banking Division for South East Asia.

Professor of Petroleum Engineering
Raj has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University (UK) and an MBA from the University of Hull (UK). Raj is an acknowledged expert in oil and gas field developments and during his lengthy career has held many senior technical and managerial positions, most notably Chief Reservoir Engineer for ARCO (Jakarta, Indonesia), Chief Petroleum Engineer with Ampolex (Sydney & Perth, Australia) and the Corporate Chief Petroleum Engineer and Petroleum Engineering Manager for Mobil Exploration and Producing Australia (Perth, Australia). During his lengthy industrial career Raj has been responsible for the successful implementation of many large projects, each with budgets in the tens of millions of dollars (US). Most recently Raj has acted as an independent consultant and has carried out major field development studies and reviews for many oil companies including Mobil, ARC Energy, Inpex, Mitsubishi, Maxus, AED Oil and Woodside Energy. He has also acted as an independent auditor for NM Rothschild & Sons (Australia Ltd.) and as the Technical Advisor to the Bank of Scotland International’s Corporate Banking and Project Finance Division (Sydney, Australia) prior to becoming the President and CEO of Sentry Petroleum Ltd.
Raj has also found time to be active in academia, helping to establish a highly successful Department of Petroleum Engineering in a leading Australian University which he subsequently ran as the inaugural Professor of Petroleum Engineering.
