Perth, Australia (October 4, 2011) Sentry Petroleum Ltd (SPLM:OTCBB), (“Sentry” or the “Company”), a U.S. energy company with oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in Queensland, Australia is pleased to provide the following update on the results from testing of Talundilly_CSG1 and Albilbah_CSG1 wells that were recently drilled in Queensland Australia.

The Company has now completed most of the laboratory analyses following the drilling of Taludilly_CSG1 and Albilbah_CSG1 and confirms that gas was encountered in each well.

Albilbah_CSG1
During the drilling of the Albilbah_CSG1 well, the top portion of the Lower Winton Sandstone (LWSS) was cored to investigate the presence of gas. The Company drilled into the top 33 feet of the 250 feet gross sand column and secured core samples before drilling had to be terminated due to severe hole conditions which could have resulted in the loss of the drill string. The cores containing organic material, were found to contain gas and were placed into canisters to measure the gas emitting from the cores. Evidence of gas in the canisters prompted the re-evaluation of the original Albilbah-1 (drilled by a previous operator) well logs to investigate the possibility of gas being present in the pore space of the LWSS. Sentry’s log analysis concluded that gas is present in a net 115 feet of the 250 feet interval. Further drilling and testing is required in order to make any determination as to whether the amount of gas present can be economically produced.

With gas obtained and analyzed from these cores, the Company is reasonably optimistic about the potential for free gas to be present in the sandstone. Gas production rates from sandstones are generally higher than production rates normally expected from coal or shale deposits and the sandstone can be produced without requiring fracture stimulation, leading to better economics. Another well specifically targeting the LWSS is needed to determine the commerciality of the interval. Sentry has already located areas that are structurally higher than the Albilbah location and the next well planned to be drilled will target these gas sands and flow testing will be performed to determine the interval’s producibility. Gas recovered is being analyzed to identify its origin and the results are expect in approximately four weeks.

Sentry has forwarded samples for routine core analysis for core porosity, permeability and residual saturation measurements. This is proving to be difficult because of the brittle nature of the sands preventing the acquiring of core plugs for permeability and porosity measurements. Barring any further difficulties, the company anticipates that this work will be completed in four weeks.

It should be noted that based on the logs the Company believes the best reservoir quality of the LWSS is below the cored interval and that the same sand is also present in the Talundilly-1 well. This interval was not cored in Talundilly_CSG1 as it was not part of the objective for the well.

Talundilly_CSG1
The Company commissioned independent laboratories to conduct a thorough analyses of the core samples taken from Talundilly_CSG1. A number of analyses – including gas desorption, isotherm, proximate, and gas composition – have been completed. During the course of the drilling and subsequent laboratory analysis certain anomalous data were encountered which makes any firm quantitative conclusions related to the results currently unreliable. A six to eight well appraisal program is required to secure reliable data which will enable management to make reasonable quantitative conclusions. Additional wells will also assess the possibility of gas resource in the Lower Winton and Macunda Sandstones in the Talundilly area.

Cautionary note
The Company cautions that no determination has been made as to whether these wells are capable of commercial production and there can be no assurance that the amount of gas determined to exist will be in quantities that are economically viable. The Company’s exploration rights are evidenced by the following permits: ATP 862, ATP 864, ATP 865 and ATP 866. In order to maintain these permits in good standing, the Company must complete certain work obligations prior to March 1, 2012. The Company requires significant additional funding to complete the remaining work obligations and advises that all future exploration work is contingent on securing sufficient financing and that there can be no guarantee that the Company will be able to secure the required funds. If the Company is not able to secure sufficient funds to complete their work obligations by March 1, 2012, the Company could be forced to relinquish their permits resulting in the failure of the business. The Company is negotiating with the local government agency in an attempt to extend the term of the permits, but there is no assurance that it will be successful in extending the term.

Perth, Australia (August 29, 2011) Sentry Petroleum Ltd (SPLM:OTCBB), (“Sentry” or the “Company”), a U.S. energy company with oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in Queensland, Australia is pleased to provide the following update on the results from testing of Talundilly_CSG1 and Albilbah_CSG1 wells that were recently drilled in Queensland Australia.

Albilbah_CSG1
Using data obtained during the recent drilling, the Company re-interpreted the previous well logs from exploration work of prior leaseholders relating to the Albilbah-1 well and confirmed the gas-bearing Lower Winton Sands just below the carbonaceous interval. This gas bearing sandstone has a gross interval of 250 feet with a net interval of 115 feet. Analysis of water samples taken during the exploration program allowed the Company to recalibrate the well logs from Albilbah-1 and improve the interpretation. The top 33 feet of the interval was cored by Sentry in the Albilbah_CSG1 well and gas was recovered and is being isotopically analyzed to identify its origin. Although the reservoir rock appears to be laid down in a fluvial (river) environment and has high organic content, it is not yet known if the desorbed gas was generated from the indigenous organic matter and/or from a deeper source rock and migrated into the reservoir. The high concentration of organic material correlates to increased ability of the interval to contain gas.

The Company is also undertaking analysis of the minerals associated with the Lower Winton Sands to confidently estimate the gas saturation in the interval. Sentry has forwarded samples for routine core analysis for core porosity, permeability and residual saturation measurements. Special core analysis will be carried out to determine irreducible water saturations. With results from the analysis currently underway, the Company believes it will be in a position to estimate initial gas-in-place and recoverable quantities over the area already identified by the reinterpretation of seismic data. The Company anticipates that this work will be completed in four to five weeks. Although the Company recovered gas from the Winton Sands there can be no assurance that the amount of gas determined to exist will be in quantities that are economically viable. A great deal of further exploration is required in order to make any such determination. The Company has already located areas that are structurally higher than the Albilbah location and the next well will target these gas sands and flow test to determine the intervals producibility.

Talundilly_CSG1
Gas desorption from the Talundilly_CSG1 cores has now concluded and from a visual inspection of the cores the Company is estimating a gross carbon bearing interval of 80 feet of organic rich reservoir and 120 feet of medium to light grey carbonaceous shale. As a result of the high concentration of organic matter in the carbon bearing interval, further analysis is required to accurately categorize the cored material based on organic content. This will enable the Company to assign gas content to the carbonaceous material on the basis of measured quantities of carbon and gas. Core samples have been forwarded for geochemical analysis of the carbon content and the Company anticipates that this analysis will take three to four weeks to conclude. Due to these factors the Company cautions that the above results are initial estimates that might change upon final laboratory analysis.

Sentry Vice President of Exploration, Alan Hart commented on the results to date, “We are very encouraged by the results of Sentry’s Phase 1 drilling program. Not only have we proven that there are coal and shale deposits within our permits, we have shown that these deposits are capable of desorbing gas. We have also confirmed gas in a sandstone reservoir beneath the coal interval. The gas desorption measurement has taken longer than we anticipated due to the high organic concentration in the cores, something that bodes well for the commerciality of this project. That said, further drilling of up to 10 wells and flow testing will be required before we can determine the economics of a resource that is deposited over 2,000 square miles.”

The Company advises that all future exploration work is contingent on securing sufficient financing.

Perth, Australia (August 9, 2011) Sentry Petroleum Ltd (SPLM:OTCBB), (“Sentry” or the “Company”), a U.S. energy company with oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in Queensland, Australia is pleased to provide the following update on its drilling exploration and appraisal work on ATP 862 and ATP 864 in Queensland Australia.

Sentry Petroleum has now completed the drilling of two Coal Seam Gas wells on ATP 862. The wells, Talundilly_CSG1 and Albilbah_CSG1 reached depths of 1,430 feet and 1,555 feet, respectively. In Talundilly_CSG1, 833 feet of core were cut, out of which 51 feet of coal and carbonaceous rock were canistered for gas desorption in 21 samples. Gas desorption is still ongoing as gas was found in all the canistered core samples. The Company expects this process to be completed for the Talundilly_CSG1 during the coming week. The Company further advises that isotherms will be obtained on selected coal and shale samples.

In Albilbah_CSG1, 472 feet of core were cut, out of which 35 feet of gaseous coal and carbonaceous rock were sealed in 20 canisters for desorption measurement. In addition, the lower Winton Sandstones were found to contain free gas and 20 feet of these cores were also canistered and evolved gas is being measured. Once these measurements are completed during the coming weeks the cores will be sealed and sent to a laboratory for routine core analysis to measure porosity, permeability and residual fluid saturation. The wireline logs from the previously drilled Albilbah-1 also indicate the presence of gas in these sands over a 128 feet interval starting beneath the last coal.

The Company’s coalbed gas content measurements are using the direct method which is the preferred method in coalbed methane and gas shale resource assessment. The direct method physically measures the volume of gas released over time from a core sample sealed into a desorption canister—termed the measured gas content. Adjustments are made to the measured gas content to account for gas lost prior to the core being placed in the desorption canister and for residual gas remaining in the core at the completion of the desorption period. The process of acquiring the measured gas content generally requires four to five weeks. Upon completion of the gas desorption results will be forwarded for independent certification.

The Company further advises that pictures from the well sites, including core samples can now be viewed on the corporate web site at www.SentryPetroleum.com.

Sentry Petroleum Completes Drilling of first Coal Seam Gas Well, Reacquires 100% in ATP 865 and ATP 866

Perth, Australia (June 27, 2011) Sentry Petroleum Ltd (SPLM:OTCBB), (“Sentry” or the “Company”), a U.S. energy company with oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in Queensland, Australia is pleased to announce that drilling of the Talundilly_CSG1 well in ATP 862 in Queensland was completed on the 24th of June. The well encountered 12.7m of net coal which were canistered immediately for gas desorption measurements. Gas was observed from the coal cores, however it is too early to make any conclusions as to the commerciality of the deposit until the desorption tests have been completed. The wireline logs confirm the coal thickness. The rig is now moving to the Albilbah_CSG1 location, 37km from the Talundilly_CSG1 well and drilling is expected to commence on Monday 4th of July.

In other news, Sentry is pleased to announce that it has reacquired all of its oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in ATP 865 and ATP 866 in Queensland Australia from Sino American Oil Company. This option was granted to Sino American Oil Company in March 2011. The option has been terminated without further rights or obligations from either party. Sentry now retains 100% interest in all oil, gas and coal seam gas interests over a permit area of approximately 11,000 sq. miles.

Sentry Petroleum Commences Drilling and Executes Gas Sales MOU with Ergon Energy Queensland

Perth, Australia (June 15, 2011) Sentry Petroleum Ltd. (SPLM:OTCBB), (“Sentry” or the “Company”), a U.S. energy company with oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in Queensland, Australia is pleased to announce that Depco Rig 22 commenced drilling Talundilly_CSG1 in ATP 862, Sentry’s northern permit in Queensland, Australia at 2am Australian Eastern Time. At time of this release, a 6” steel conductor has been set at 42m and cemented. When the cement is dry the rig will air drill a 5 7/8” hole down to 180m just above the major coal zones and will be running and cementing a 4 1/2” casing. The coring will start from this depth once the cement is dry.

The Talundilly_CSG1 well is targeting the Winton coal and gas shale formation. The well will be cored from 200 to 400m and drilled down to the target depth of 550m before logging. The Company anticipates 10 days to complete. Coal and shale cores will be sealed and shipped to CSG Exploration & Production Services (“CSG EPS”) for laboratory analysis and testing. CSG EPS is a Queensland based service provider specializing in the evaluation of Coal Seam Gas (“CSG”) reservoirs and prospects. The firm’s primary expertise relates to gas capacity measurements through desorption, CSG prospectivity analysis, reservoir characterization, Gas In Place estimations and CSG portfolio management.

The desorption test will be continued during the following 60 days. The length of the testing process will depend on the time it takes for the total gas in the coal and shales to be desorbed. We expect testing to be completed by mid-August 2011 with results announced immediately thereafter. Isotherm analysis will also be performed during this period.

Upon completion of Talundilly_CSG1, the Rig will move to the Albilbah_CSG1 well location. The Company anticipates spudding Albilbah_CSG1 in the last week of June. Sentry will provide daily drilling progress reports on our corporate web site at www.sentrypetroleum.com/projects/unconventional/current-drilling.

Additionally, Sentry is pleased to announce the execution of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Ergon Energy Queensland Pty Ltd. Ergon Energy Queensland is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ergon Energy Corp Ltd, a Queensland Government-owned major electricity distributor, retailer and generator. Ergon services over 680,000 customers across an area in excess of one million square kilometres, roughly 97% of the state of Queensland.

Dr. Raj Rajeswaran, President and CEO of Sentry, stated: “The commencement of our drilling appraisal program and the execution of this MOU are important steps in our corporate development strategy. The drilling appraisal program will provide us with the opportunity to confirm our technical data and potentially advance our properties towards commercialization of our prospective resource.”

Dr. Rajeswaran continued, “The MOU, though non-binding, is an important preliminary first step in establishing a strategic relationship with one of Queensland’s largest utility providers. To enter negotiations with a potential customer of the scale of Ergon Energy Queensland at this stage further strengthens our confidence in our ability to produce significant shareholder value.”

Under the terms of the non-binding MOU, the companies have agreed to enter into negotiations for the purchase and sale of potential gas for use in Ergon’s Barcaldine Power Generation Station immediately north of Sentry’s permits ATP 862 and ATP 864.

Cautionary note: The Company cautions that the execution of the MOU should not be construed as any indication of the prospectivity of the potential coal seam gas deposit. The Company’s upcoming appraisal core drilling campaign is being undertaken in order to measure the necessary data to be able to classify the resource as reserves and make a later determination as to whether any identified resource can be produced economically. There is risk that the Company’s upcoming appraisal drilling campaign could yield results which adversely impact any previously published estimates of coal seam gas within the company’s ATP 862 and ATP 864 permits and the Company can provide no assurance that it will be economical to produce any of the resources underlying any of the Company’s permits.

Independent Consultant Estimates Potential Gas In Place For ATP 862 & 864

Perth, Australia (June 2, 2011) – Sentry Petroleum Ltd. (OTC BB: SPLM) (“Sentry” or the “Company”), a U.S. energy company with oil, gas and coal seam gas rights in Queensland, Australia, announced today that leading independent petroleum engineering firm MHA Petroleum Consultants (“MHA”) of Denver, Colorado has completed its 2011 resource assessment of Sentry’s coal seam and shale gas prospects in permits ATP 862 and 864 in Queensland.

MHA provided Sentry with a report that was prepared in accordance with NI 51-101 under Canadian reporting standards. The report focused on three areas surrounding conventional wells drilled within the permit area by prior permit holders and provided the following estimates of gas-in-place and recoverable prospective resources:

President and CEO, Dr. Raj Rajeswaran stated, “The outcome of the MHA evaluation supports our view of the resource potential in our permits. Our upcoming drilling program is designed to further delineate this resource which will then lead rapidly to reserve certification.”

The complete report is available for direct download at http://www.sentrypetroleum.com/projects/unconventional/permits/atp-862-864.

The conclusions expressed by MHA in the NI 51-101 evaluation were that the resources discussed in the report are unproven and there is no certainty that it will be either economically or technically feasible to produce any portion of the prospective unproven resources discussed in the report.

Cautionary note: The Company cautions that the estimated quantities of gas by MHA Petroleum Consultants LLC (“MHA”) disclosed in this press release represent an estimate of the potential of Sentry’s coal seam and shale gas assets in ATP 862 and ATP 864 based on technical data including geological maps, well logs, cross-sections, engineering materials and other information supplied by the Company, published information and MHA’s personal knowledge of the geology and economics of gas and gas exploration, development and production in Australia and are not intended to be construed in any manner as an estimate of any classification of reserves. A field study was not undertaken by MHA. Further appraisal is required before any estimated classification of reserves can be compiled. The Company’s upcoming appraisal drilling campaign is being undertaken in order to build the necessary data to be able to compile an estimate of reserves and make a later determination as to whether any noted reserves can be produced economically. The assessment of petroleum assets completed by MHA is subject to uncertainty because it involves judgments on many variables that cannot be precisely assessed, including reserves, future oil and gas production rates, the costs associated with producing these volumes, access to product markets, product prices and the potential impact of fiscal/regulatory changes. We believe MHA’s review and conclusions are sound but no warranty of accuracy or reliability is given to those conclusions. The estimates of resources, costs and associated risks may increase or decrease and the opinions may change as further information becomes available.

Forward-Looking Statements:

This release includes certain statements that may be deemed to be “forward-looking statements” within the meaning of applicable legislation. Other than statements of historical fact, all statements in this release addressing future operations, undiscovered hydrocarbon resource potential, exploration, potential reservoirs, prospects, leads and other contingencies are forward-looking statements. Although management believes the expectations expressed in such forward-looking statements are based on reasonable assumptions, such statements are not guarantees of future performance, and actual results may differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements due to factors such as market prices, exploration successes, continued availability of capital and financing, and general economic, market, political or business conditions. Please see our public filings at http://www.sec.gov and http://www.sedar.com for further information.
